I recently purchased a new vehicle and I have never had a more enjoyable buying experience. I told Mike what I wanted , what I wanted to pay (after shopping around on the internet) and gave him my information over the phone. He called me back 5 minutes later and told me to come pick it up. I drove down there and it was cleaned , prepped , full of gas and ready to go. I met with the finance guy to sign the papers and was on my way in less than ten minutes. I told Mike about my past buying experiences and I asked him not to hassle me about extras, or warranties and all the other stuff the dealerships try to cram down your throat. He totally respected my wishes and I was never asked once. Also I had a minor issue with my vehicle after purchase along with needing a few accessories and the service team took excellent care of me. Mike even made a special trip to come in while sick just to make sure that I was happy with his service department. I know no one likes to be bothered with emails like this but If you hate car buying as bad as I do it is worth the short trip to Brenham. Mike is the Internet manager and fleet manager he can help you with anything you may be needing. Let’s reward the good guys out there!

I am so proud of my new RED C-Max from Appel Ford- Mercury in Brenham, TX. Mike Leonard got me just what I wanted, plus. The C-Max being new to the Ford line up, they searched to get me everything on my "wish" list. I am so excited about my hybrid- and the results I have already seen and it has been only 2 days. My paperwork was ready when I arrived, details were explained and I felt no pressure at any time. This is my first hybrid so I had a lot of questions and they answered them all. We are very pleased with the vehicle. It has exceeded all our expectations, being a used vehicle. The biggest thing that we appreciate is the courteous treatment before, during, and after the sale. The negotiating process was fair and straight-forward. We didn't feel like we were being pushed/forced into the deal or being fed bad or incorrect information on the vehicle history and current condition. My overall experience -
I bought a used 2007 Santa Fe from Appel Ford and my experience was really great. All the staff from General Manager to Front desk were very nice people, courteous and professional.
Mike (Leonard) is very hard working sales professional. I have realized that professionalism from a dealership has started to become a very important factor in your car buying experience.
Living in Houston, I have really seen some very questionable dealership(s). This dealership puts you at ease and provides a very comforting and honest car buying experience.
My hour drive from Houston to Brenham was worth it. Two thumbs....all the way...UP.

I love my 2004 Dodge truck. The only problem was the cowboy bumper. It was really too heavy . Changed to stock bumper and the truck front came up almost 2" . It drives great.
Diesel mileage was not too good until computer was program with a mileage update. Now getting 19+.

We would like to thank you for putting the pleasure back into purchasing a vehicle. We were looking for a 2007 or 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac with low mileage at a reasonable price. We wanted one comparable to the 2001 Sport Trac we had as far as amenities were concerned.
After scouring the Internet for nearly a month, Appel Ford was the place that had such a vehicle. The back and forth via e-mail and the Internet between us in regards to the vehicle was much appreciated being we live in Spring, TX. We felt it was worth a trip to Brenham, but realized we could be wasting a trip if the vehicle wasn't as you said and advertised. We dreaded the process of haggling for a vehicle. Back and forth, we offer, you counter-offer. Oh, how we didn't want to go through all that nonsense.
You provided us with any information we requested on the vehicle and we did our homework through Consumer Reports in regards to what the vehicle should be purchased for. You surpassed that. The purchase price, after our trade-in (which was extremely reasonable), was below their recommended price. The 2008 Sport Trac we purchased was in excellent condition. We want to thank you for the extras you and Appel were willing to do for us. Thank you very much.
We've had the vehicle about three weeks and must say we are not disappointed at all. We really liked our 2001 Sport Trac, but the improvements Ford has made since then are impressive. We plan on keeping the 2008 for some time.
Mike, you were a pleasure to work with, both over the Internet and in-person. We have already recommended you to a couple of our friends. There's something about working with folks in a small community. Thanks for treating us like human beings that have intelligence.

We were looking for a well maintained used Ford Crew cab with very specific equipment requirements. After scouring through all our local dealerships here in the Amarillo Texas area, as well as online advertisements, we found a 2005 Ford 250 long bed through the Apple Ford dealership website.
